ECSO StartUP Awards Finals 2025

The future of European Cybersecurity was discussed today in the panel debate: ‘Building European Cyber Capabilities: How to Bridge the Funding Gap’, held during the ECSO Awards Finals.

Some key priorities have been highlighted today such as the need to support European start-ups, strengthen venture capital capabilities, incentivize investment and increase trust in cybersecurity market and specially to promote new funds and investment initiatives.

Europe faces intense competition from global players, particularly the US and China. While some steps have been taken by European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO), the European Investment Bank (EIB), the European Investment Fund (EIF) and the European Commission there is still a long journey ahead.

Our Director, Javier Diéguez, joined this insightful discussion alongside Carlos Alberto Silva, Augustin Blanchard, and Arnaud de Vibraye as a part of the event ECSO Awards Finals 2025, held this year in The Hague, The Netherlands.
